Renaming of funds within the Threadneedle (Lux) SICAV
We have been notified by the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Threadneedle (Lux) (the “Company”) of some proposed changes to their funds. These changes are due to come into effect on 20th November 2023 (the “Effective Date”).
BACKGROUND TO CHANGES
Columbia Threadneedle Investments acquired BMO's asset management business in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) in 2021, resulting in the renaming of various funds and entities within the combined business, to reflect a unified Columbia Threadneedle Investments brand. Consistent with these changes, as of the Effective Date, changes will be made to the company name and respective fund names to reflect the Columbia Threadneedle Investment brand.
SUMMARY OF CHANGES
As of the Effective Date, the Board proposes to change the name of the Company from “Threadneedle (Lux)” to “Columbia Threadneedle (Lux) I”. In addition to the Company name change, they will be changing the name of the funds by replacing the the prefix “Threadneedle (Lux)” with “CT (Lux)". The name change will have no impact to the investment objective, investment strategy or risk factors of the funds.
