Objective and name changes: Aberdeen Standard Investments UK funds
Effective 7 August 2019, Aberdeen Standard Investments will be making changes to the objectives of some of its funds. At the same time it will also change fund names to bring them in line with the Aberdeen Standard branding.

A summary of the changes
Following new rules and guidance issued by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), which regulates the financial services industry in the UK, Aberdeen Standard Investments ("ASI") will be making some changes to the investment policy of its funds to provide clarity on how the funds are managed.
At the same time ASI will be changing the names of the majority of its UK funds generally to include the ASI prefix at the beginning of each UK find name in place of "Aberdeen" or "Standard Life Investments". Certain funds (where Aberdeen Standard Capital is the sub-adviser) will have Aberdeen Standard Capital at the beginning of each name in place of Standard Life Wealth.
The changes will come into effect on 7 August 2019. ISINs and Sedol numbers for the funds remain unchanged.
Funds available in our open-architecture products
All affected funds will be renamed from "Aberdeen" or "Standard Life Investments" to "ASI" in accordance with the changes advised by ASI. These changes will be updated in our systems on or around 7 August 2019.

We have a number of funds across our guided fund ranges affected by the fund name and objective changes. We will update fund names on or around the 7 August 2019 on our systems and fund centres as per the below table.
