Change to mainland China exposure: Aberdeen Standard SICAV I – Asian Smaller Companies Fund

Aberdeen Standard Investments ("Aberdeen") has announced a change to mainland China exposure on its Aberdeen Standard SICAV I – Asian Smaller Companies Fund (the "Fund") which will take effect 1 October 2021.

Available in our open-architecture products

Various funds affected by this notification feature in our open-architecture products and will be subject to changes detailed in the Aberdeen notification document opposite.

 

Available in our defined fund range products

The Fund can be found in our defined fund range products Oracle, Paragon, Quantum and RSP (including Malaysia variants). From 1 October 2021, the Fund will increase its allowed direct exposure to mainland China securities of the net assets of the Fund from 10% to 20%. 

 

Aberdeen has confirmed that such an increase reflects a combination of a continued increase in weight of mainland China stocks in the relevant benchmark and a growing opportunity set in this country.
