Three prestigious awards for RL360
In the Middle East region, the company won the Best New Product award (1) for the launch of its international single premium investment bond, Oracle, and the Best Trust/ Estate Planning Product for its Discounted Gift Trust. RL360’s DGT is the most flexible on the market, and can be used with any of the company’s single premium products. It is used to mitigate an individual’s liability to UK Inheritance Tax (UK IHT).
Launched in May 2011, Oracle is already proving incredibly popular with both IFAs and their clients thanks to its competitive charging structure and low minimum premium of £20,000 (or currency equivalent). It has a wide ranging, flexible guided architecture fund range (no mirror funds) which caters for differing attitudes to risk and medium to long-term needs, and is available in seven currencies.
In Asia, the company won the Best New Product award (1) for the launch of the LifePlan Split Trust. The Split Trust, to be used in conjunction with its international regular premium protection product, LifePlan (2), allows a UK domiciled policyholder, who has selected both Critical Illness and Life Cover, to access their Critical Illness benefit whilst ensuring the Life Cover does not fall into their taxable estate for UK IHT purposes.
Natalie Hall, Head of Marketing at RL360, commented: “Winning three prestigious International Adviser awards demonstrates the continuing recognition RL360 is gaining within the offshore life industry and the progress we are making in terms of reputation, growth and product development.
“These awards are testament to the valued support from our IFAs and the dedication of our staff.”
1. Products entered into this category must have been launched after 1 July 2010.
